9U [TADPOLE] 2015--2016


9U - PLAYER EQUIPMENT AND DRESS CODE

STANDARD BASEBALL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED, to be provided by parent

For both GAMES and PRACTICES!

  • baseball glove
  • batting helmet WITH working chin strap
  • protective undergarment - ‘jock’ / ‘jill’
  • cleats [non-metal]
  • water bottle [please, no pop or juice]
  • BASEBALL PANTS for practice?
    • NO SHORTS or JEANS, EVER, please.
    • 9U / 11U - baseball pants are not required for practice
      • sweats or other athletic/comfortable pants OK
    • 13U - baseball pants are recommended for practice
    • 15U / 18U - baseball pants are required for practice

JERSEY:

  • REQUIRED FOR GAMES
  • must be tucked into pants
  • to be worn for games and team photo day only
  • LCDMBA will provide - on loan for the season
    • Sign-in/sign-out procedures in place

HAT[LCDMBA Logo]

  • REQUIRED FOR GAMES
  • LCDMBA will provide with support from our Association sponsors.
  • Manager or parents must write player’s initials inside hat with marker.
  • Lost hats to be replaced at parents’ expense.

PANTS:

  • GREY BASEBALL PANTS REQUIRED FOR GAMES
  • Parents are required to provide pants.
    • Depending on size and availability, LCDMBA has an assortment of pants that are available for players to borrow.

SOCKS:

  • REQUIRED FOR GAMES
  • Players are encouraged to wear ROYAL BLUE / RED / BLACK baseball socks for GAMES.
  • Socks may be available for purchase at our Concession, while quantities last.

BELT:

9U / 11U - Though not a requirement, players are encouraged to wear a ROYAL BLUE / RED / BLACK baseball belt for GAMES.

  • Belts may be available for purchase at our Concession, while quantities last.
