11U PLAYER EQUIPMENT AND DRESS CODE

STANDARD BASEBALL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED, to be provided by parent: for both GAMES and PRACTICES!

  • baseball glove
  • batting helmet WITH working chin strap
  • protective undergarment – ‘jock’ / ‘jill’
  • cleats [non-metal]
  • water bottle [please, no pop or juice]
  • BASEBALL PANTS for practice?
    • NO SHORTS or JEANS, EVER, please.
    • 9U / 11U – baseball pants are not required for practice
      • sweats or other athletic/comfortable pants OK
    • 13U – baseball pants are recommended for practice
    • 15U / 18U – baseball pants are required for practice

JERSEY:

  • REQUIRED FOR GAMES
  • must be tucked into pants
  • to be worn for games and team photo day only
  • LCDMBA will provide – on loan for the season
    • Sign-in/sign-out procedures in place

HAT: [LCDMBA Logo]

  • REQUIRED FOR GAMES
  • LCDMBA will provide with support from our Association sponsors.
  • Manager or parents must write player’s initials inside hat with marker.
  • Lost hats to be replaced at parents’ expense.

PANTS:

  • GREY BASEBALL PANTS REQUIRED FOR GAMES
  • Parents are required to provide pants.
    • Depending on size and availability, LCDMBA has an assortment of pants that are available for players to borrow.

SOCKS:

  • REQUIRED FOR GAMES
  • Players are required to wear ROYAL BLUE baseball socks for GAMES.
  • For 2022 season, LCDMBA is arranging a group order for socks, please watch for information from your team manager.

BELT:

9U / 11U

Though not a requirement, players are encouraged to wear a ROYAL BLUE baseball belt for GAMES.

CONCESSION

NOTE: This information is being updated for the 2022 season. Some details are obsolete, some have been updated. Please speak to your team manager if you require further information.

OPENING PROCEDURE CHECKLIST

-Make sure the hot dog machine is clean. Turn it on as soon as you can it takes 15 to warm up.

-Make sure the float is $100. If not, please make a note when filling out receipt book at the end of shift.

-Pull out the hotdog buns from the fridge so they are not cold.

-Please cook 6 hotdogs at a time. Add more if needed.

-Make 1 pot of coffee. –Make popcorn.

-Set out condiments, cream, sugar and stir sticks.

-Set out candy that goes on the counter candy bags, chocolate bars.

-Open bathroom doors (key is hanging in concession)

-Put out garbage and recycling cans

CLOSING PROCEDURE CHECKLIST

-Put all condiments and counter candy away
-Close front
-Empty coffee filter and clean coffee pot.
-Clean hot dog and popcorn machine with vinegar solution.
-Bring in garbage and recycling bin. Empty garbage into main large garbage bin at field.
-Leave recycling until full then tie bag and leave in the back room.
-Put new bags in garbage and recycling bins.
-Make sure everything is restocked.
-Wipe surfaces and sweep floors.
-Count float, fill in receipt book.
-Receipt and cash deposit in the back room.
*Note if there is a game after shift count cash and deposit money leaving $100 float. The person after can do closing procedure. Thanks.
